Welcome to Yax Finance. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Yax Finance mobile application ("App") and related services. By using our App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Yax Finance, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Yax Finance is a personal finance management application that allows you to:

• Connect and view your bank accounts
• Track transactions and spending
• Categorize expenses
• View spending analytics and insights
• Manage budgets and financial goals

We use Plaid to securely connect to your financial institutions. We do not provide financial advice, banking services, or investment recommendations.

3. Eligibility

To use Yax Finance, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Provide accurate and complete account information
• Have a valid bank account at a supported financial institution

4. Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

5. Use of Plaid Services

By connecting your bank accounts through Plaid, you:

• Authorize Plaid to access your financial account information
• Agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy
• Acknowledge that your bank's terms may also apply

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Share your account with others
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Yax Finance and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Data Accuracy

While we strive to display accurate financial information:

• Transaction data comes from your financial institutions via Plaid
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data
• Account balances and transactions may be delayed
• You should verify important financial information with your bank

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING:

• MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF INFORMATION
• UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE
• SECURITY OF DATA TRANSMISSION

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YAX FINANCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Errors or inaccuracies in financial data
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Service interruptions or downtime

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, if any.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yax Finance from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Any reason at our sole discretion

You may terminate your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Yax Finance.
